Wine Alentejano
In Southern of Portugal we found the Alentejo. Despite this region is probably the biggest of the country, the sub-region able to produce High quality wines are very small. The climate in these sub-regions is tipicaly continental with a balance of hot and dry summers with harsh winters. In Borba, where Herdade Penedo Gordo is located, the unique terroir where the soil and climate blend with the most interesting set of grape varietals, allows producing original wines that not only have a differentiated quality as they also reflect the singularity of the region.
